Atlanta's climate in the middle of winter : a few very cold and snowy days every winter ?

Well we hardly ever get any snow...maybe once every 2 years. That is you are counting the snow that sicks to the ground. Usually it does not get higher than 60 during a normal, dreary winter day. But yes, sometimes it does get below 20 degrees, but that doesn't mean we'll get snow.
