Will they reinstate asthma waivers into the military any time soon?

I was in the USMC DEP and got bronchitis, the MEPS doctor sent me to get a methecholine challenge, and I failed. I have heard, however, that it is hard to p these tests with the best of lungs. So I was medically discharged from the DEP and left asking, "what now?" I was planning on being a career military man, and using this to provide for my family, I need a new plan and I am willing to go to another branch. What's going on in the military medical world?
