Can i use a cheap amp?

hi im getting a new guitar (epiphone sg g400) and i was wondering will it still sound ok through my old 10 watt acoustic solutions practice amp i got it from argos with my first electric guitar it was �100 for the guitar amp and case its pretty cheap but sos the guitar do i need to buy a new amp as well if so what practice amps do you reccomend
