Whats going on??!?

get yourself to a doctor, and don't be afraid to ask questions. discuss all your options. don't let her leave until you're satisfied; a lot of doctors like to be in and out of the exam room so fast...i'd also recommend doing some research on l health: our bodies, ourselves is a good book as is woman: an intimate geography by natalie angier. the following website is not my source, but it's a good resource and a good place to start your reasearch. also, tlak to other women! your friends, family members, whatever. the less you treat your period as taboo, the less stress you'll have when you're bleeding, and that should help with the pain as well.
