Bible version Questions?

You are correct that different translations are written at different reading levels. Some, like KJV, are essentially a foreign language, due to language change over time. There is no "J" in Hebrew, so any scripture that has a "J" in the name of the Almighty (or the Savior) is not a correct translation. I prefer THE SCRIPTURES from the "Institute of Scripture Research"
