Song on first season of gilmore girls?

there's a song on a episode of gilmore girls that I've been trying to find.Its the episode where Dean and Roroy has broken up and she's heading to a party.But Lorelai goes over to Max's...there's a song playing when she gets there...I can only make out one line...it says...."what do I do when I want to...be as close as I can get to you"I think thats what it says anyway...Anyone out there know what it is??
